The No. 3080 cycling route connects the municipalities of Březno and Droužkovice south of Chomutov. The route goes through the natural monument named Střezovská rokle.
The cycling path by the Zoopark is a section of the circuit leading through Chomutov and continuing towards Jirkov, Boleboř, Blatno, and Bečov and back through the Bezručovo valley to Chomutov. This big circuit is 27 km long and moderately difficult so therefore it is more suitable for experienced bikers. The circuit’s elevation is 300 m. If you do not like long routes then only the first part leading between the Zoopark and the Kamencové jezero Lake from Chomutov to Jirkov is ideal for you.
There is a marked blue tourist trail from Chomutov to the peaks of the Krušné hory Mountains that is also suitable for bikers. The section of the route leading from the town to the piedmonts is perfect for families with children and for relaxed bikers; bikers who like challenges will appreciate the uphill gradient along the Chomutovka stream up to the edges as far as the Novodomské peat moor. The valley is directly connected to the town of Chomutov, so it is an easily accessible area where you can walk or ride your bike.
The mountain section of the river Bílina runs through the Telšské údolí valley northwest of the town Jirkov. Along the river there is a cycling route designed for proficient bikers. We recommend the cycling circuit Chomutov - Bezručovo valley - Kalek - Gabrielina huť - Telčské valley - Boleboř - Orasín - Telšské valley - Jirkov - Chomutov which is a total length of 45 km.
It is a moderate route mostly on forest pathways. Behind the Janov water reservoir it connects to Klínská and Kostelní pathways, behind the village of Klíny to Tesařova path. It is a really challenging route leading on roads and forest pathways and is suitable for mountain and trekking bikes; on several asphalt parts a road bike is possible. A part of this route leads to Krušnohorská magistrála. The total length of the route is 45 km and bikers will surmount an elevation of 580 m.
