The Eastern Erzgebirge Wildlife Park enjoys a scenic and beautiful location in a valley between Lauenstein and Geising. The park is accessible for those with disabilities. Native types of game, a play fort, adventure playground, herb island, nature protection school and holiday camp for everybody.
The Fláje game-preserve is situated on the plateau of the Krušné hory Mountains and it partly extends into the Šumenské údolí valley. The highest point of the game-reserve is in Loučná where its 956 m above sea level. In the preserve there is a network of wells, from which high-quality water (quality sufficient for infants) is pumped. The area of the game-preserve is 1,930 ha with normally around 300 bucks. There are also important mating areas for black grouses. Among other endangered species there are black storks, stock owls or boreal (Tengmalm´s) owls.
The game-preserve is situated in the village of Mstišov, near Dubí u Teplic. It is possible to go there any time of the year. There are domesticated animals and animals commonly found in Czech forests, such as boars, moufflons, deer and more. You can bring some old dry bread or some animal feed and if you stay quiet and get close to them, closer than in the open land, you can feed the animals yourselves. In the game-preserve there is also a restaurant and the possibility of accommodation. Children can try horse rides.
