A former opencast mine, Vrbenský (more known as Matylda), is currently used for recreation and active recreation. Its area is almost 40 hectares and its average depth is 3 - 4 m. The popularity of the pond is continuously growing among the residents and non-residents. Therefore it is being constantly developed. The eastern part of the oblong lake is designed for swimming and in summer months there are water attractions installed. Beginning in the summer season of 2012, visitors can enjoy new grass beaches and modified accesses to water. The remaining part of the lake is used by lovers of other water sports - jet skis, motor boats and water skis. Also the fishermen can enjoy themselves.
Around the lake there is a 4.4 km long asphalt path for in-line skaters and cyclists and also a path for walking or jogging. The visitors can leave their personal belongings in lockers next to the path. You can have a snack from the local kiosks. There are also toilets and showers. The local auto camp is mostly used by visitors of car races in Autodrom
